I just had a conversation with my 18 year old son about his quandaries with his girlfriend and fortunately he realizes that the most important thing is that they enjoy each other's company and look forward to the next time spent with each other and appreciate the other one when they're apart. It's clever and humorous plus it makes such an important point. It's really a lovely story! I love that the Beast is a girl in this one and that she wasn't beautiful in the end. The twist was unexpected but really well done. And they got to keep the books. Yay!
