HUNGER MOUNTAIN is bursting its seams! New editor Cynthia Newberry Martin partners with former Art + Life editor Claire Guyton to launch our new section THE WRITING LIFE. Assistant Editors Jenna McGuiggan and Laurie Easter, as well as Contributor Gwen Mullins, round out the new team. Here’s what you have to look forward to:

An expanded calendar of blog posts at ANOTHER LOOSE SALLY, our blog about writers and writing (check in every Thursday!); more AUTHOR VISITS with Hunger Mountain contributors; twice monthly infusions of large and small doses of craft in CRAFT SHORTS & ESSAYS (online submissions for both forms now open); postcards from the organizational side of the writing brain in our brand new LISTS: LITERARY & LAUNDRY; memos from the business of the writer’s life in our new WRITER, INC., debuting in September; and coming soon, anything but your mother’s reviews in REVIEWS GONE SIDEWAYS. Check us out here and stay tuned!
